A new Olympic Sport

Forget hockey. Track and field.
Gymnastics. Swimming. Forget all the athletic type events.

There is a much better way for the countries to compete. Oh yes. And really, there is NO training for it. None. Children won't have to be taken away at an early age by the government to start training before they can walk. Parents won't have to shell out big bucks for their kids to participate in a chosen sport.

And, there won't be any travelling. No stadiums to be built.

It can ALL be done via the internet.

Actually, via this friendly site.

Verb: lie

Tell an untruth; pretend with intent to deceive

Noun: liar

A person who has lied or who lies repeatedly

Of course, there are different types of lies. There are those that use them to make themselves look good. Or, uses them to get out of an uncomfortable situation. Or, the ever popular, (so-called), white lies.

But, then again, there are those that use them maliciously. To hurt.

Now, personally, I don't think it's an inherent trait. Nor do I see it as gender specific. No way. Both sexes lie. Both sexes lie well.

Especially here. On this friendly site.

Pshaw, you say. Here? On this friendly site? Liars abound? No way. It can't be.

OK, I LIED!

Those beautiful women want YOU. YES, YOU!!! They aren't pro's. They want to sleep with you. Suck your cock. Be your sex slave.

Yes, they do. They really do. The emails they send out are real. Really they are. Yes. Truly. The website thing is just a way for them to make money to put themselves through college. No other reason. They are sincere. They aren't fake. Why would you ever think that? They scraped up all the money they had to get professional pictures taken, so they could attract the best of the best. Honestly.

And, ladies, what about the "picture perfect" males. The ones that can turn heads when he walks into a room? I've met a few of those. Yeah, they can turn heads, alright, they turn away... or those that prefer not to say regarding their marital status? Or, the ones that insist that their wives know they play and are OK with it.

Yeah. Right. Uh huh. Sure.

What about those that make promises and conveniently forget about them? I saw one man for a while. His profile states, and I quote; "I ALWAYS show up, and am always on time". Yeah, what a crock of bullshit he's slinging. That rat bastard stood me up a total of THREE times. And, always had a convenient "story", (read: lie), as his reason. He had a last minute meeting. He had to quickly fly out of town. Heh. I did believe the meeting, as I know his work. But, the quickly flying out of town? Yeah, fucking A. That sealed the three strike rule for me.

So, yeah. We all know about liars on this friendly site. It's our choice whether to believe them or not.

My friend,[blog LoyalCumpany], got an email this morning. This is what prompted this post. We really had a good laugh over it. Here's his rendition of the email... I'm finally going to get laid!!!! Watch out Texas!!!. Her profile, (with emphasis on PRO) was a fricking hoot. I honestly laughed so hard, I cried. Personally, I think she deserves a gold medal. First one given in this particular category of the A F F OLYMPICS. Category: PRO OR NO?

I'm gonna have a GREAT day! It's beautiful here in sunny Florida. No place else I'd rather be...

btw. I'm lying....

Hi fellow Buc Fan!
Your comments made me rethink my profile, so I edited it with a new forward. I may be a low-life, decietful SOB, but at least I'm not a liar about it! Now it's plain as the nose on my face.
I do agree with all you said. I see drop-dead beautiful photos that curl my socks. Why would that super-model be looking for a "forever love" here ... yeah, right.
Thanks for making me think. The truth is always best. And better still when your out front with it. I'm new here and still learning.

I knew it, I just knew it, I knew something was wrong with me. I always tell it like it is. It's a cowboy thing

I read it and it was funny. But consider this. It's really just another example of globalization at work. We're now importing liars. Those foreigners will even lie more, for less. Before you know it, they'll even run for political offices. Hell, don't be surprised if some
day one will even score an important office, say, governor of California?

The opportunity for unguarded expression seems wasted when clouded by deception. As of yet my pants have not caught fire.

My mom taught me "sometimes the truth hurts, but it is best to tell it". I have found through out life that saying has served me well. I think in this PC world most people are more concerned about not hurting someones feelings that they are about telling the truth. Being from the old school I don't see it that way and people at work think I am uncaring, which is not the right answer, it is just I don't like having to give so much thought to whatever it is I have to say.

ahhhh Tut. How right you are. But, remember, this is the internet. People can virtually hide behind their monitors, and spew forth what they please. It's when they get called on the carpet, that it gets interesting
