I FOUND IT

I've been anxious to write this post since the weekend. The thing I enjoy about blogging is that I have always had a lot to say in regards to everything, but never was sure about who cared to listen. Now I CAN'T WAIT another minute to get these thoughts out. I'm hoping whoever reads my thoughts will be able to grow from something I might say.

Several years ago I found everything I was looking for at the same time. You know how? I found the truth about peace and happiness. Now this is the part that I hope gets quoted over and over and over again:

Some see the glass as half full, some see the glass as half empty. I see what's in the glass as being sufficient no matter what or how much is in it. I found everything I was looking for the day that I realized that peace and happiness are not things you seek, but rather things that you recognize when you have them.

Now, I remain focused on my dreams and the appreciation for my successful accomplishments and the unlimited potential for human growth. Everyday I am filled with appreciation about where I have come from, excitement about where I am in the present moment and enthusiasm about what is sure to come!

I have found it impossible to maintain focus on these things and still be connected to disappointments or perceptions of failure. I never give mental recognition to the possibility of failure. Failure only exists to me as a false judgement that acts as an inhibitor in someone else's life. An occurence that another may view as a failure is recognized by me as a challenge that helps me to logically pinpoint a better target for the next attempt. Eventually, that growth point will ultimately lead to a success. So at the moment of the challenge, it exists to me as a potential state of success.

How about you? Do you feel you are where you are supposed to be in life or are you reaching for more without appreciating how far you have come?

Do you recognize the dreams you've already created? the ones you've given up on?

What did you dream?

Are you still dreaming about it?

How about you? Do you feel you are where you are supposed to be in life or are you reaching for more without appreciating how far you have come? I don't want to say that this is where I belong for good, but I suppose it is where I am meant to be for the time being.

Do you recognize the dreams you've already created?
Well, I dreamed of having a job with a flexible schedule and I have that. I just wish it paid more money.

the ones you've given up on? Yes
What did you dream? I dreamt of being skinny.

Are you still dreaming about it? I'm settling for proportionate now.

Nice post. I have always had the view that what some label as failure is simply another tool for learning. Opportunity.

How about you? Do you feel you are where you are supposed to be in life or are you reaching for more without appreciating how far you have come?
I have recently realized just how far I've come in life. And I do appreciate it. But I don't quite feel like I'm where I'm supposed to be either. Restless and changing these days...

Do you recognize the dreams you've already created? the ones you've given up on?
Yes to both. The ones I've created were/are wonderful. The ones I've given up on never really mattered.

What did you dream?
Peace, connectedness and wholeness within myseslf.

Are you still dreaming about it?
No, learning how to feel it, recognize it and accept it...
