honeymooning

i've been away from the computer for a couple of weeks,
that date lasted 18 days. saw each other every evening. had lots of fun.
i guess i just like honeymooning.
i know that the romantic phase of a relationship is like a drug..and is sure to wear off inside of 18 months..24 tops.
the sheer breathlessness of it was great fun.
still, i had to come up for air.
it was a good thing my week of on-call duty came up when it did. i needed a break.
didn't see her for six days.
then, in the last of that week i got that nasty bug that's going around. i have just now started to feel normal again.
the gods have been very good to me.
i have a sweet, sexy, sane....and local...girlfriend.
with all the cooing and cuddling we started with it is now a bit of a chore to begin letting up on the throttle.
wondering and deciding and arranging
how this new person fits into my family and work life.
are we a good long term match for each other?
i really don't know.

but heck, i'm just making my life up as i go along anyhow.

i think i'll push things tward the lighter side
and enjoy the honeymoon while it lasts.

All you can do is take all of life one day at a time
and find time to honor all that is important to you.
I value time...and value love and when you identify
someone that you enjoy spending time with.....why not
do just that as it feeds both of your souls?

A special welcome to blogland...happy to have your services
available as the boys have begun to dribble on the courts,
some minds would rather think about dribbling around the tub! {=}

Just a little food for thought.............
If you really want to be happy, nobody can stop you...
