How many days will it take to get at least one reply?

I am curious how many emails a typical woman would get on this site.

I have sent about ten email inquiries to women whose profiles interest me, and I have not gotten a response from any of them...

You would think common courtesy would apply, if you are not interested, you should at least respond that you are not interested. The only thing I can think is that the email volume is large that they have trouble replying to them all?

So ladies, what is the answer? If it is not a volume problem, please give the courtesy of a response, even if it is "not interested".

I used to get a lot of email til I said I wasnt' looking for anyone. Now I clearly state that I will not reply to any email, so don't expect it.

I used to get probably about 7 or 8 emails a day. Some of the guys obviously hadn't read my profile at all, or their profiles were just really unappealing or non existent.

For the few thoughtful responses, I would try to reply, even just to say "Thanks and good luck with your search..."...but sometimes time just didn't allow. And then I'm a standard member, so I'm only allotted so many responses within a 24 hr. period. Sometimes I used those up emailig people I already had friendships with.

Then again...sometimes real life intrudes too. You just never know online about anything. Try not to take it personally. Unless they email you and tell you to take it

Thanks for your response. . . None of the emails I sent have been to someone who said they weren't looking. I guess I am not surprised by the fact that a number of guys will try anyway, even if it is obvious that they are not going to get a response. Some of us do need a whack over the head with a hammer to catch on, however I like to think I am not one of them!
