first time e-mails

Everytime I want to contact an AdultFriendFinder member for the first time, I sit there and draw a blank. What the fuck do you say.

You need to start your heading with something creative to get you noticed over the 100 or so other e-mails that that person received that day. But where to go from there?

Should you spill your guts trying to describe who you are, why you should be the one he/she chooses to write back to. Is it going to be too long. Or should you keep it short saying "hey, I'm a cool guy that wants to hook up with you". Hell, the chances that your e-mail probably won't even be opened justify keeping it short.

But what is to long or to short. What needs to be said that can win enough interest to warrent a reply. Where is the point of writing so much that your recipient becomes bored and moves on to the next suiter.

Can anyone enlighten me on this since I have blown so many opportunities that I really wanted to happen, merely by fucking up the simplest thing, Like a "First e-mail".

I guess I will kick this one off.

I would say it depends on how serious you are about the contact.
If it is just a really hot girl that I would love to have my way with but thats about all, then I just shot off the quick little e-mail letting them know that I am there man. this one is easy as there are tons of girls that fall into this catagory. So if you get a responce from one girl out of 200, well ya didn't break a sweat.

If it is someone that I would really be interested in getting to know, well then, I actually take my time and put some thought into what I feel needs to be said.

I am sure that many men out there have a template that they use to shoot off e-mails with. I haven't been that smart yet, I still sit here and think of what I want to say to that person.

ether way, that is how I approach the matter.

Ok, art, you did good with the email you sent me. Appeared honest, sweet and not the "im horny so drop everything and run to OKC so I can get my rocks off and leave you lying there wondering WTF just happened" email, lmao. I prefer a man showing intelligence, humor and just being themselves in the email, and you did both. It was a "real" mail. Nice chattin with u too!

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Speaking for myself...
I dont get 100 emails a day or Id probably shut off my profile.
I read all the emails I get... catchy subject line or not.
When the email mentions things about my profile, it convinces me he took the time to read before writing.
Describing sexual acts will guarantee the email gets trashed.
Asking me out in the first email is a turn off.
Dont brag about wealth
Dont cuss

(I'll probably think of more, once I check my mail!)
Be yourself ... You are a great guy!

Hmm, immediate turnoffs would be I want to F you in the subject line. And telling me how hot or cute I am when I don't have a picture posted is another. Just because this is a sex site doesn't mean you should talk to someone like they are a whore.
