She's gone....

Amidst the grey skies and rain my daughter left for Nelson in the morning. I'm playing Sugar on the stereo and doing the housework that I so neglected in the last two weeks while I crammed her into my life as much as possible.

I will be loading my pipe with as much Ganja as I can: I plan on spending this weekend in a haze.

I didn't realize how much I'd miss her until she cried when I told her she'd be going away with Mommy. I cried too....

So, I'm changing plans again as life throws another fuck in my path. The pulp mills aren't knocking down my doors so I'll make as much effort as possible to get down to Nelson. I'm only being paid $11 per hour here - I might as well work for that wage in Nelson.

My two years in Prince George have not been kind to me.... I think Nelson is where I can find happiness.

There is nothing that hurts more than saying goodbye to a child. I'm sorry for your pain...

Some years are definitely harder then others...just went through a hard year myself. It seems that life is made up of these highs and lows, but neither is a permanent condition Hope that you get to spend time with your daughter again soon....

ART, That you would follow your daughter speaks volumes about who you are. Regardless of the parents status the kids need their father and too many fathers are reluctant to see this.

Kudos to you.

I am not dead yet

Art as a father having been in the same situation, GO TO WHERE YOUR CHILD IS. Be there for her, let her know you love her, fly a kite, read a book, try to see her as often as you can as they grow so fast. Your children are you wealth..

Babel: thank you. I appreciate your support. It's funny how the west Kootenays and Nelson are so family oriented. I want my daughter to grow up there....
