Crystalline Hindsight

Crystalline Hindsight

The misinterpretation of a context, taken for what it isn't, lingers in the mind. Changes, never intended, get caught in the blend. Become more. Subtle alterations that pass unseen. Unnoticed. A trail of crumbs left to the wind. Hints of longevity and endurance, where none can be, intrude on carefully drawn reality. The frame, overloaded, bends nail and threatens to pull everything down. Discussion brings doubt. Of character. Of self. While retrospect passes enlightenment with perfect clarity; time may have already crossed the room.

That was well written and... deep.
Everything is always more clear
in retrospect. Being blinded by
the misinterpretations and then
shocked into an all too clear reality?
Story of my life.

Yours too, huh?
Being the one who usually gets things wrong, I'm just not used to this side of the equation.
