A Terrible Thing to Waste

Instant gratification is one of those phrases that have an Oxymoronic ring. I mean if it happens in an instant... is it really gratifying? OK, winning the lottery may indeed be instant gratification, but in the world of sex there is something to be said for the idea of sexploration!

The old drug commercial slogan could have just as easily applied to sex "The mind is a terrible thing to waste". Sure there is a sexual instinct that can be fed without ever exploring your partners mind, but it is a bit like eating a steak without any seasoning, still good? Of course, but could it be better? It is amazing what a little salt can do!

Given a choice between a super-model whose idea of sex is "insert tab 'A' into slot 'B'" and a sexy minded woman of any color, shape, or size I choose the latter, every time!

It is always a pleasure to hear the thoughts of a woman who actually THINKS about sex, some of the blogs on this site are perfect examples. On the other hand you have an entire porn industry that evidently believes that instant gratification is all that people are interested in. I guess I can't argue with them, they are making a killing selling scenes that simply cut to the action: some perfectly shaped, fake titted, barbie doll with a mouth full of cock.

B*O*R*I*N*G

(In fact the entire premise of these films involve boring... Mindless hours of men boring women, women trying to lick women without tasting anything, and groups of people boring each other into "very realistic" fake orgasms.)

I know these films will never go away, because they sell. But it seems like someone would try to tap into the market that includes more of the "chase"; the mental stimulation that makes one person WANT another person. I don't mind the fact that there are people out there that are "visually" stimulated, I just think that the subtleties of innuendo, teasing, and "the unknown" are vastly overlooked! Some people would consider this "playing games" but if both parties are serious about this game, then they'll never go back to chess!

Don't misunderstand my overall point here; I think that the "waist" is a terrible thing to waste too! I just happen to think that the journey down to the waist should be savored! So let me ask you this... Do you mind?
