I saw Hobbie on Wednesday afternoon and although tired, she seemed in really good spirits. She said that they found no evidence of infection inside her leg which is excellant. She said that her doctors have stated that perhaps they removed the drainage shunts prematurely the last time so they are going to leave them in longer this time to make sure that the leg gets well drained. She will also continue to be on dialysis to drain further fluids from her body. The only downside is that she will have to virtually start physical therapy all over again and rebuild the strength that she had gained over the 10 days. A minor setback -- we shall prevail.
