A Step Beyond Maturity

We usually learn by our mistakes.
So do I.

We usually do the same mistakes.
So do I.

We usually talk, walk, laugh and breath
with our own same pattern of rhythm.
We usually touch, hug, fondle and kiss
as we learned from our past lovers.
We usually fuck, ejaculate and clean ourselves
having the same burning flame on our faces.
So did I.

What does really change in two lovers' souls?
What does give meaning,
What does take it away?

She has not changed at all
but she is not the same.
So am I.
She thought of me, she dreamt of me
she asked for me, then she forgot me.
So did I.

She still talks, walks, laughs and breaths
with her own same pattern of rhythm.
We touched, hugged, fondled and kissed
as we learned from our past lovers.
But as we fucked, ejaculated and cleaned ourselves
we just had a cold emptiness on our faces.

She stepped out of me.
So did I.

Such complexity, connected thoughts and yet, not connected at all.

"sweet" babyboy! <said in her most charming manner>

Maggie,

Actually these poems are part of a larger story I am writing. A psycho-social study about the dreams and nightmares, visions and failures, bravery and cowardiness, faith and betrayal, love and hate....of a disillusioned man who went in exile to find himslef. This journey of self-discovery is by own nature an amalgamation of disconnected thoughts and feelings that seek desparately a connected line stepping beyond maturity...

So again I knew you would understand!
