Swimming to France

After a much appreciated hiatus, the dreams seem to be back.

Last night, I was on a commercial jet headed to CDG; I was sitting in the seats on the right of the jet, Brenda Chenoweth sat in the seat to my left.

There was terrible weather, and we had to descend to avoid the worst of it. As we flew only a few hundred feet above the Atlantic, freak monster waves started forming. Then, waves hundreds of feet in height formed; we dodged the first one, but went down in the middle of the second one.

The cabin started filling with water immediately, and just as quickly, people started dying.

As bodies swirled around me, we kept going deeper because the engines had not shut down and the turbines were now acting as hydra-jets.

As usual, I woke up, terrified, before my death.

Now, I had anxiety dreams about planes long before a certain event. Any time my life was in flux, I would have dreams in which a plane, almost always a commercial jet, was the vehicle and symbol of my anxiety.

I never crashed, though.

Today's soundtrack: Rush, "Distant Early Warning"; REM, "Leave"; Tragically Hip, "50 Mission Cap"

What is going on underneath the surface? I hope you are alright. I can see Brenda Chenoweth from Six Feet Under has become rather iconic for you. I hope you land on a tropical island with her next and the dream is fun...

Read the latest from BlogLand’s virtual newspaper: The TATTLER: Backyard Fence & Crossroads. Thank you!

Thank you for your concern, Rock-Dude. I'm OK... supposedly dreams are a way to work things out.

Stay tuned... I think I'll be posting a blog that will explain some stuff in a week or so.
