Lemme get yer door

There’s a new free weekly in Buffalo called “Buffalo Current”; a little sparse, but it’s new, eh? For those unfamiliar, a free weekly is just that - a free weekly newspaper. Every American city I’ve been to has at least one; they’re typically independent and a good check on the local corporate news outlets. They’re often focused on local nightlife and culture, happenings around town, scandals at City Hall, and political firings at the university.

So, “Buffalo Current” has a sex columnist, Sabrina (who may or may not be my brother’s long-time ex-GF - gotta ask him about that), who seems pretty good. She’s funny, insightful, has made me think of things I haven’t thought of before... all this in just two columns.

Sabrina’s column this week is about what longtime readers of “Stained Sheets” know is one of my top favs... giving head.

(Yes, men "give head" to women, and I’m not going to argue over this again!)

Basically, she writes the usual post-feminist argument that distills to, “Lick my pussy if you want... " to be sucked off/a second date/your wallet and car keys back. (Or was that last bit from Lianna’s last date?)

But she says something intriguing here... says she can tell within 30 seconds into a date if the guy licks the cream. What’s her trick? Seems the old “car door” test has been be updated... guy opens the door for you, he gives it up... gotta open your own door, you’ll be doing some other things for yourself as well.

It shouldn’t be too surprising that I open car doors; I also open house doors, back doors, the doors to Hollywood video.... You got a door painted shut? Just hasn’t been used in a while? I’ll oil her hinges, open that little bitch up, and then hold it open for you. You got an older, bigger house with those arched double front doors? It’ll take a little work, but I can hold ‘em both open for you....

I’m looking forward to holding the wardrobe door open for “My Sworn Enemy and Arch Nemesis for Life”... gonna throw a Turkish Delight in there for her too, I imagine it would take a careful, gentle touch to open a portiere just wide enough for a whisper. Then there’s this crazy little cat door ‘cross the pond I’d love to see stand taller....

So, feminine reader, next time a man holds a door open for you, give him a wink and a smile like you know what he likes.

It's my experience that the car door test she mentions is a fallacy. I also believe, whoever reachs the door first should be the one to open it.

voodoo

It will make me think now every time I see a guy open a door from now one....oooh is he going down on his woman or not? Then the other question will arise is he good at it or not?

It could indicate a number of things:
A very traditional and old fashioned guy who would be too proper to be much fun.
A chivalrous and romantic guy who places women on pedestals.
A caring and generous guy who is giving of his time, attention and efforts to make a lady feel special.
It might be a little too vague as an indicator of "giving head", but I will side with VoodooGuru1 on it being an appropriate gesture.
I would rather err on the side of good manners and keep her wondering about the rest. Heh

I sadly disagree! I am fuck buddies with a couple men that open doors for me but that either don't give head or just are plain not good at it. Damn it!!

FreeLove999 - Oh, but I'll bet you're happy for us "door-openers" when you've boxes, packages, and a child in tow.

MissAnnThrope - I do place a nominal value on my life, so I'm not going to say what I'm thinking.

TexasMar - Yes.

spinmedown - What do you do when confronted with a revolving door, spin?

redmartinigirl - Sorry.

your_gypsy - I wonder if the theory holds for Texas "ginnellemin"?
