OK - for now, my blog is going to be mostly about these dreams I've had for four years or so... very vivid, emotional, and often anxious dreams. My therapist keeps telling me I need to keep a dream journal, and I keep telling her that that's something a 13 year old girl keeps... often punctuated with hearts and unicorns.

Ach - so I blog... therefore I am???

Elements of last night's dream included:

My high school girlfriend.
The Ramones.
Math - number structure, and something about a financial formula I was supposed to get off the Fed's website.
... And something vague that I think had something to do with the Armenian holocaust.

Hey, I kept a dream diary when I was in therapy about 15 years ago. Considering that dreams seem like gobbledy-gook when you have them and write them down, it is actually quite shocking how reading it now reminds me of the state of mind I was in then: not really something I wanna go back to... I eventually stopped writing the dream diary because I was having 7-10 long and vivid dreams a night and keeping up with the writing was impossible. However, I do think it was good practice for the psychic and creative work I do now, as I can suspend myself in a dream/ unconscious state very easily.

Interesting. I am like that girl up there was -- I dream constantly. And of course many of my dreams are fraught with anxiety. Everyone tells me that I should keep a journal of them. Like I really want to turn on the light and write in the middle of the night? I think I've posted a few of my dreams on my blog.
