Love in War... terrible but tasty.

If anyone is reading this post, you should check where I'm hailing from so that my words can fall into context with what I am experiencing at the moment.

"I never tried having intercourse under fire or during a seige, but if things go on the way they are I will most probably find myself not very far from such an experience.

A week ago my country fell under fire from its southern neighbor and I will not go into the political dilemma that I am so tempted to report. No, not this time. What I would like to express on this site, is the aspect of Love under pressure, or to be more specific, in the line of Fire.

"You seldom think about sex during war."
False, false, false, false, false, false, FALSE.

The only thing you can think about, especially if you are young and single, is procreation. Even if you have a steady girlfriend that shares with you these most intimate of feelings on a semi regular basis and are sure that you are recieving or will recieve a fair Ration of love and affection in due time, you can't help but feel horny every time a missile lands close or a fighter jet booms by. Its not in your hand or any other organ for that matter. Its simply psyche. You are built to be horny in danger.

Perhaps its a mix of excessive adrenaline and a million year old encryption in our genetic code passed down to us from our ape like ancestry that had to deal with many dangers in their primitive habitats that landed procreation and intercourse up on top of the highest necessities in our list of needs.

That is a very long sentence. What it says is this:

Cave men were horny because nature wanted them this way. (BTW cave women were by no meens any less horny than cave men)

Perhaps thats the reason I have been running back and forth with a hard on as I dodged the shrapnels and bullets.

Come to think of it, the male genitalia itself resembles and has been reffered to as "a little soldier" many times before.

Guys who happen to read this, don't go rushing into a war to solve any erectile disfunction, but trust me on this one: be well prepared upon going to a war zone.

Ladies... do not complain about the macho mentality and the war stories any more than you have to if you really want your guy to go through one of these life changing events and learn a bit more how precious you can be.

Besides, I think we've been going to war as frequently as people have been fucking in this region of the earth.

Ce la guerre
Ce l'amore
Ce la Vie

You know you are right, I was involved in a military operation in a war zone when I was in my early twenties, and you just reminded me how horny I was all day, under my camouflage was a fully equipped hard on. I had forgotten, you are so right. Anyway peace with you my brother.

Stay safe my friend. As for war and libido - how fascinating to read it first hand. There probably is an innate mechanism (my first degree is in comparative physiology) that should you perceive yourself in danger then you will try to perpetuate your genes through procreation. It happens in all sorts of other animals and reason suggests that it will apply to humans as well.

May a guardian angel, uncorrupted by the partisanship of a particular faith, protect you in the days ahead.

(Sent by through papy's Blog...thanks papy)
We are out here on safe land and/or water "watching" the trauma from our supposedly truthful newsmakers. Keep on talking ...some (of us)need to understand more and through your words and feelings we can all come closer in a world of mass destructive missunderstanding.
It looks very difficult but may peace come soon and never leave again.. My prayers with you for a safer life and may you always have your hard ons but in less destructive adventures!

here via papy

strangely, this humanizes the situation in a way so many writings don't and makes it more real

the need for connection makes perfect sense - what else to do when the world has gone mad around you but to find that place of intimacy and caring and release

i pray for all those who find themselves living in the midst of war -i pray that instead of war our leaders will choose compromise and peace and provide us with a way to go forward without the killing and destruction

blog on little soldier

You cannot conceive the many without the one.

Thank you all for your support and prayers. I am confident that everyone here in Lebanon and in Israel are thankful also for your thoughts of them. I pray that once this tempest blows over we will find ourselves once again posting our happy thoughts only.

I can't thank you all enough.

Thanks free2chose2 free2chose2 for the thought. I'll be careful. But I can't help think about the ones that are too little to wear any sort of armor.

27 years is long enough to have had a reasonably good life. But what about the 27 months. Thats what's driving me crazy.

Thanks brother and I share the same sentiment being a NGO worker here now in Lebanon with the war going on thats pritty much allot on the mind it was the same for me for two years in Iraq -why doesent the little guy just lie down, but I guess you are right in close difficult places what you do need is to be loved and that physical manifestation is just something happening at a deeper level
