DOES VANITY SHORT CIRCUIT PEOPLES BRAINS?

I have come to believe most people on online dating sites are hypocrites they all pretty much say the same thing I’m only looking for a kind, caring guy but I have found nothing is further from the truth, I decided to do a some research, and to test my hypothesis I went on one of the dating sites and opened two profiles, one with a average looking guy and wrote a kind, caring all American apple pie type of profile, and one with a male model and a very crass, rude, woman degrading profile just to see what would happen, I had only a few criteria for judging my results, how many women would respond on their own, and how many would reply to a email, and it came as no surprise that the common looking guy with a kind caring profile did not get one response or rely to a email, but what blew me out of the water was the amount of emails the model got even with such demeaning statements directed towards women quit a phenomenon, so I was left to ponder why would so many women write and say things like, (great profile would love to talk and maybe get together) (you sound like a great guy hope to talk soon). . . etc, are women so hung-up on their looks that they only care about how a man looks? Why do women right profiles about being tired of players, frogs, toads, losers, and then try to get a date with one what’s up with that? Sure I understand the concept of physical attraction, but at what point dose it become self-destructive behavior?
