Epic Fantacea #22 Master and Student

Justarius, on a nod from Ian, hung back a little behind the greeting party, ready, if circumstances should deem it necessary, to spring into action. Orlokx stood close by, dwarfing Justarius, and seemingly completely calm.
"Why should he be worried?" mused Justarius, "He's already dead."
As the boarding party approached, Justarius did his best to appraise the situation.
Feyd had moved to the front of the action, staying to the side of the two parties, his Royal Elven Armor finely polished and Air Guild Insignia displayed.
The elven aeronauts and marines seemed almost dumbfounded, as their gazes shifted between their prince, an administrator of their guild, and the loathsome human enemies.
The elves now outnumbered the humans about five-to- one, a thought which made the human crew of the Ellen Dhura feel uneasy.
Justarius watched as the Great Shadraki in the black robes walked forward, cracked half a smile, and extended his hand to Ian Emyu.

"Morichoba, it is good to see you again."
"Likewise, Master, I only wish it would be that we would be greeting one another under better circumstances."
"Aye," agreed the sage.
There was a moment, a pause, as the former master and student wished they could say so much, but for fact and propriety could not.
"So..."the sage shrugged.
"Master Emyu, I serve to deliver a message from Lord and Master, Grand Shadraki Archedemia." With that being said, Morichoba produced a scroll, and with slight of hand on both man's part, everyone witnessing only saw the transference of one scroll from Morichoba to Ian Emyu.
Morichoba locked eyes with Ian, and speaking in the ancient language he said, "I serve the faith."
Ian returned the bow and the ancient salutation, "I serve the faith."
With that Morichoba spun quickly away, leading the boarding party back to it's own deck. The gangplanks were removed, and hooks released.
"We're gon' have to change course," said Clovis.
"Of course," sighed the elven prince.
Meanwhile everyone's eyes stared at the scroll in Ian Emyu's hands.

"That was the first time, Noriova, I would see your father," said Justarius formerly known as Senilis. "Even as an enemy, he was always noble and honorable."
Neither Noriova nor Justarius the younger said anything. They waited, as patiently as they could, for the elder man to continue his story.
