I'm a loser! Wee!
I'm a loser! Wee!
The time has come for all of my religious readers to find out the man behind the blog. That's right, both of you.
As many of you have guessed, I look nothing like my photo. Mostly because that's just the automatic photo that comes with the account. I'd put a photo of myself here, but I don't have a scanner or a digital camera or anything like that.
Plus it gives chicks the delusion that I have that good of a physique.
But when I'm ever asked for a photo on the net, usually I just use my favorite pic of Arnold Schwarzenegger in Total Recall (unable to post). But since I'm trying to attract women and not repell them, that would be a major no no.
I'm a high school graduate, so that means that I do have some smarts. Brainy is something different entirely. I got good grades in Algebra, but I found everything else to be a chore. I'm currently thinking about enrolling in film school, however.
I do have a job, even though it sucks. But at least I have some support for myself. I wish to be a writer someday, be it author or screenplay writer. Perhaps both.
My hobbies are pretty much limited to a visual media. I watch movies because that's pretty much the only constant means of relaxation in my life. I have a somewhat frightening knowledge on the subject. I had someone ask me how I knew all this crap and my response was "Girl, what do you think I did during high school?"
My favorite movie is Ghostbusters. Probably can't give you a valid excuse why, I just find a lot in that movie to get a kick out of. As for genres, I love science fiction, such as the Back to the Future and Matrix trilogies (that's right, I loved all three, so bite me). Action is another one that gets my blood pumping. My dad may have had John Wayne, but my boy is Arnold Schwarzenegger (I've even taken my fanboyism to the level of being able to spell his last name without doublechecking). I also enjoy a good comedy every once in a while (by "good" I of course mean no Rob Schnieder). Some of my favorites in this catagory include the ever so controversial Dogma and the underrated Rat Race.
Some of my more geeky obsessions in film include superhero and monster flicks. I can't get enough of Spider-Man 1 & 2, and am on pins and needles for 3, and Daredevil is quite possibly the most underrated movie ever made (especially the director's cut, which is almost a different movie entirely). As for creature features, I lean toward the classics. Godzilla is an obsession I've had since I was 3. I've seen all 29 of his films and am damn proud of it, even though it pretty much confirms I'm doomed to be a virgin for life. I also have a fondness for the classic Universals, especially Frankenstien and the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
As for television, I'm a follower of slowly dwindling fanbase of Mystery Science Theater 3000, for more reasons than one. One, I get a kick out of old B-movies, and two, Michael J. Nelson is just plain hillarious. Even though the show has decreased in quality over the years, I'm still a proud viewer of the Simpsons, if only because the show has been in my life so long that it's just tradition every sunday now. Current shows I watch include Lost, My Name is Earl, the Daily Show, and the Colbert Report. Dearly departed shows that I hold close to my heart are Get Smart, Sliders, Titus, and Sealab 2021.
And now it's time to scare off any potential woman who still might be interested in me, as I admit that I do watch Star Trek. I'm not sure if I'd call myself a Trekkie, but I do find it to be one of the finest and compelling sci-fi sagas ever made, despite it's geeky reputation. Especially Enterprise (you heard me) and Next Generation, which are both in my top ten favorite television programs of all time.
I also watch Garfield & Friends. Big fat hairy deal. It's still sharper and smarter than that lousy Malcolm in the Middle show.
So that's basicly who I am. I'm pretty sure nobody's reading this by now, so I'm wasting my breath. But if you did make it to the end, yay! If you're an attractive brunette, I want to hear from you. If you're an attractive blonde, I want to hear from you.
Hell, if you're a woman, I want to hear from you.
