A Short

Soliloquy

Oh, there was a lady,
and so I've been told,
Whose lover grew weary,
whose lover grew cold.
"My child," he remarked,
"though our episode ends,
In the manner of men,
I suggest we be friend."
And the truest of friends,
ever after they were-
Oh, they lied through their teeth,
when they told me of her!

Another dash of Dorothy for you. I like Miss Parker's attitude, don't you ? She hits the nail right-smack-bang in the middle of it's thick head, doesn't she?
In case you're interested, to give Dot her full title it was
Parker, Mrs. Dorothy Rothschild (Campbell) (1893-1967).

Luv n stuff {=} Susie {=}...you all be good now, 'cus I just know you can be, if you try.
