Well, I've decided to look outside of the box after going through my Mother's box. . I have forever believed that I had to do things a certain way because it was the way it was supposed to be done. However, my Mother (God rest her soul) past away this year and today I was just finally going through a box of special momentos left to me. As I watched her suffer without complaint from cancer, it puts life into perspective. I have cried for her loss, she worked so hard, to build her a life to enjoy in her golden years and she was robbed!
I can't tell you how many times people have commented on how much like my Mother I am. Which I consider a compliment because she was an incredible lady.
I have been taking assessment of my life and I came to the rude awakening..... I was walking the very path that my Mother once walked. Working and trying to get to that "place" where I could enjoy and relax. My Mom didn't know her path would end with Cancer, I don't know where mine will end up either, but I am not waiting to find out.
Time is flying by and the years are adding up quickly. It is my belief that I must make these changes now, to enjoy each new day for what it is worth, to go for that "brass" ring everytime I see it and really want it! I may not get it, but at least I gave it my all and went for it. Here are my thoughts.

1. I am writing down what is really important to me
2. I am prioritzing them
3. I am making a plan
4. I am posting that plan on my vanity mirror so I can see it each and everyday.
5. I will execute that plan

And last but not least.... to the love of my life, wherever you are.... I'm coming after you too

Tradition certainly has its place in our lives, but life is meant to be lived, none of us has the guarantee of tomorrow, we really have to do that "someday thing" today..... that's what I am going to do starting now!

You took something that could have been a burden to you and made it something good. Amazing woman. I vote you "most likely to succeed."
