Quote of the Week:

What would you do, if you were not afraid to fail?

Aim high, Air Force!! sorry, having one of those moments when you're high off your ass on sugar which never happens to me. i'm sugar and caffeine resistant!

If I were not afraid to fail, I would return to collge. I would make a life without the need of my husband. I would become more confident with others and reach outside my comfort zone. But most of all, I'd try everything I was ever afraid to do before.

Who knows? Anything would be possible... maybe even figuring out how to "twist" Peter Piper! Seriously, if only it could be so that none of us feared failure... just think how much the human race could accomplish.

OMG..is this a loaded question. If I knew I would not fail, I would have slept with every woman I have ever seen and attracted to. I would walk up to them and ask them quietly..."where would like to go to be with me"

they would just follow me where ever, that would be awesome.

at some point the sex would become boring.

so I guess then I might say I think I would ask out every woman that I have ever been attracted to. right now, i just want to be able to walk up to one of a hundred and ask them out.

someone is living my dream i am sure.

one day

If I don't fail at least three or four times a day, it's been a lousy day. Now, my fears, that's a whole different story and you didn't ask. *grin*

Maybe it's too early in the morning or something but I see this question in several different ways (just the way I am).

One, what would I be willing to do if I had no fear of doing that thing.

Two, what would I do even if I was to fail.

Three, what would I be doing or willing to do if I know I would be successful.

One, explorer areas that few have been to (deep Amazon or Congo).

Two, I do this no matter what - a new job that few if any will be interviewed with, talking to someone who may be "out of my league" for dating or more, playing Powerball (the last 5 times I haven't even managed to get one number right).

Three, I do seek out a European Princess, Dutchess or Baroness for a LTR.

Im not afraid to fail that is why I love my life... Live and learn. Grow from my mistakes. I dont see things as failures, only as lessons.

If I were not afraid to fail to hang onto enough of what I've paid for, I'd exit this now sorry caricature of a marriage. Those green-printed paper finger cuffs are awfully hard to remove, alas.

I'm not afraid to fail. What I do is give it my best shot. If I fail it won't be because I didn't try hard enough.

Bye everyone, it was a blast

I would have run for President.....and won! And changed the world. Either that or curled up into a little ball when the whole country hated something that I did. lol

I'd say something along the lines that zoopc42 said. I'd hit on every woman I saw that I thought attractive. Only it would NEVER get boring for me because I know I'd be lucky if one in twenty said yes.

I read the comments first this time. I think that some misread the question... it wasn't "what if you wouldn't fail?" it was "what if you weren't afraid of failure.

I'm sure that nothing would be different for me. Failure would still occur whether I was afraid of it or not.....

Would I have tried anything else? Not likely. I've never had ambition to do or be anything. Sometimes stuff just worked out (for a change).

Great question. So good that I'd like to think about that for a while. Thanks for the kick-start.

I have to tell my students all the time that they have to face their fear of failure, otherwise, they will never get anywhere in life. I try to live that way in my life as well.

Never, I honestly learn every time I screw up, and thats better than getting it right by luck alone. If we do our very best and still fail, its not a failure at all, just another test.

I'd open a internet cafe in a small college town and try to make it an off campus legacy. A place where memories were made....

I would finally do the things that I wanted. I might perhaps go on to medical school and become a doctor. Or perhaps pursue a Masters in Forensics. I wouldn't be married.

I am afraid to fail and I can't afford to do that with my child. If it was just me, I'd live, but I can't do it and hurt my child. I've got to be responsible.
