I'll Be Happy When

Do you ever find yourself saying I'll be happen when......."?

We all do it. We all say things like:

I'll be happy when i make more money
when I have a bigger house
when I lose 10 more pounds

But.....what about those things that happen every day and don't cost us a dime or make us work so hard.

I want you to think real hard and tell me one thing that makes you happy.

For me, it is coming home everyday knowing my family is gonna be there. I know my daughter will have the phone in her ear and be on the Internet....Sail will still be working up in the office and the dog and cat will greet me at the door.

So, tell me "What one thing makes you happy?"

Waking Up.

Happiness is such a fleeting emotion. I usually consider purchases to make me feel more comfortable than more happy.

Working out is one of the few things in this life that truly makes me happy.

Unconditionally happy.

The small things in life are poignant, but I look at the bigger picture. Bigger things.

Happy?

Going to see my girlfriend
Seeing my kids (most of the time!)
Driving my motorcycle
Petting my cat
Listening to music

Lots of things make me happy. Probably more than make me sad. I know my bread is buttered right-side up (so to speak)!

It's such a stupid answer I cringe. The internet makes me happy. It's like running to the mail box when I was a kid and finding letters and cards from home and from friends. Writting takes a little more effort than just calling somebody on the phone and there's something about the printed word that makes it more tangible.
Truly,

No matter the time of day, or that I've gone outside just to come back inside ... my two pups actually smile and turn circles until I sit down in the chair and they jump up in my lap. And when I ask if they want to go outside or for a drive ... they turn circles too. So ... my one thing is actually my two small dogs ... Sophie is a white chihuahua ... and Harley is a chihuahua/daschund mix with the black/tan markings of a rottweiler and really big ears!

I never say or wish for material things to make me 'happy'. For me, being happy is a choice I make every morning when I wake up and get out of bed. Now, my girls can make me 'happier' when they do the dishes, or clean their rooms, etc. But I don't base my happiness on such things. Guess I learned that you just set yourself up by doing that. And I don't want to fall into a trap like that.

It usually takes something to make me unhappy for happiness seems to now stay tucked in my hip pocket. What makes me especially happy is when my wife smiles at me. Sometimes I feel as a favorite hound on the porch. My wet nose pressed against the glass trying to gather her attention. When she notices and smiles my way it gives me such a sense of wellbeing. Your smile is nice as well. I am climbing out of a place of dark shadows and guard my longings but within the framework of your smile I am unfettered.

I have to choose just one thing that makes me happy? That's practically impossible!!! IF I had to choose just one thing it would be this: the ability to dream. Not the night-time while-you're-asleep-R.E.M. dreams (those can be interesting), but the hope-and-wish kind of dreams. They are limitless, never ending, and as great as you want them to be!

Indeed, Purry, I’ll be happy when sushi turns into moxie. It’s been said that about 80% of success is showing up. Then I suppose the other 20% must invariably presume naked with food and moxie, or sushi, huh? You simply must cum more often.

Five things that make me happy:

5. Blogging.
4. Not just having a job, but enjoying it.
3. Having a kitten (can't right now, but I have before).
2. Being in Barcelona.
1. Knowing someone out there truly loves me.

To Merriam-Webster shades of moxie I would add but a genuine PLAYFULNESS that rolls with the punches, yet rivals the gusto of the hound dogs and the Energizer Bunny.

Sometimes my cranium just doesn't know when to stop, Purry, once it gets started, or how to start, once it gets stopped. Ostensibly it has only two speeds: stop and wide open, which generally can range any where from a drop to a drip to a gulley washer. Are you generally fond of suckers?

Please stop by at your convenience, for another little ole hello, Purry. I’ve missed you incredibly and intensely. You simply must cum more often. Later!

Shucks Purry, I think I like your crack up, it looks so good on you, and feels good too. Perhaps I should now rephrase and retool a bit and just say never was there a crack up that ever I thoroughly enjoyed more than yours, such that now to the various Merriam-Webster shades I would simply add a mere genuine PLAYFULNESS that rolls like the Pillsbury Dough Boy, and rivals the gusto of a Playboy Bunny. Shucks here I am again, Purry: tore up; and secretly of course I’m quite a sucker for suckers as well.
