Does anybody else around here hate mornings?

It's too early to be morning. Nothing better than sleeping until midafternoon, especially if you have someone to sleep with.

I suppose I could do that today (sleep till noon) as it's Veteran's Day, but there's too much to do and no time in which to do it. 'Course, I don't have any lovely lady dragging me back to bed either.

Phew, it's a lot of work just checking all those blogs too.

Well, off to work with me.

That's when I do most of my best writing as well. I think it's simply the stillness in the air at that hour.

I can recall one college night, I had to come up with a proposal to the school administration for funds and use of facilities (and they're a business school, so tight-ass doesn't even begin to decribe them). In two hours, between 1 AM and 3 AM, I ended up on the greatest roll ever, and blitzed out a 20 page proposal. When we presented it the next day, (despite the fact that during the actual presentation I was a blathering idiot because it was 9:30 AM and I was nervous beyond compare) the Vice President of IT called it "the best proposal I have ever seen by a student group".

And yeah, I agree with the sentiment about being up before the morning. Whenever we went camping, I usually stayed up the whole night and watched the sunrise, then it was worth it.
