What Women Want :Cock shots and Baseball Caps

I just spent thirty minutes flipping through the listings for my competition, eg the other women between 30 and 45 listing in my area.

I was just a teensy bit surprised by how some of them present themselves!

A number of men have mentioned when they have written me that my pic was classy or my approach intelligent. Yes, of course. Since I am interested in classy and intelligent men it seems to me self evident that I would present myself similarly.

I have attempted to do this in as inoffensive a manner as possible. I figure if I sound just a little elitist I will get elitist people responding (I actually like a touch of elitism in a man. It suggests that he is...um...elite).

Now, some women out there say that they want "executive" or "professional" men for serious interactions, but then show photographs of their clitoris. Hm. doctors, professors, lawyers, is that the way to go?

Others run absolutely rampant about cock shots. I will be quick to admit that unless I am pretty intimately friendly with a man, I have no urge to look at his erect member. Sorry. They are mostly pretty similar. But three paragraphs about how disgusting they are seems counter-productive to me. In fact, why would anyone want to enjoy sex with a woman who has tiraded about how offensive she finds his pride and joy?

I HAVE, however, considered adding a sentence to my profile about the proper use of the baseball cap. I have resisted only because I live in Tacoma, Washington, USA, where baseball caps are arguably more prevalent than erect penis. The proper (by which I mean to say, socially acceptable, mannerly) place to wear a baseball cap is at a baseball game or other outside sporting event. Not in a movie theater, coffee house, restaurant, playhouse, museum, grocery store, classroom, courtroom....need I continue? It is an outdoor hat which absorbs sweat and odors from the active male who wears it. It is intended to keep the sun off the face and eyes (thus, it boasts a bill), not to cover up the balding scalp. Men who wear them inappropriately risk offending gentlewomen and alienating those they most want to impress.

Whew! I feel soooo much better.

So. Men. What do we ( I ) do that bugs you? What should women do to their profiles to make them more reader-friendly?

I certainly agree with the baseball cap observation but women really send mixed signals. I have two memberships here; same guy, same profile, different photos. You guessed it; the erotic photos win out with 300 views for every two of the classy, intelligent profile.

Just like the women aren’t all Victoria Secret girls we’re not all the shirtless, great abs, tight butt in jeans types. So what “guy” photos would you consider classy and sexy? How many women would actually pick an executive or professional type for a sex partner? How many would honestly choose intelligence over sexy?

Well, girls and guys... I totally disagree with ya'll. Being the recipient of a couple of degrees from institutions of higher learning and being a person who is referred to as "doctor" on a daily basis... I've had my share of etiquette and decorum exposure from around the globe. And I say... the cap stays!

How do I attend my professional meetings and black tie events? Here's how: shirt untucked, jeans, scruffy boots, and my favorite fitted cap with the frayed bill. I simply do not care what ya'll think, period. And how am I referred to at those meetings and events? "Doctor" Case closed.

We agree, we have posted pictures both way. Currently trying more classy pictures. Monica hates baseball hats so that is out.

I would like to claim "class and elitism" but I think I just get accused of being "old school" by the 20 somethings that work for me. It is not just Tacoma dear. I spent 17 years in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I attended shows in a fine arts threater there and the men of Klamath County just didn't get it either. There are certain hats that are "formal"; generally black cowboy hats. They are acceptable indoors because they are not used as a work tool.

The entire reason hats are warn are for protection. I wear a hat as part of my job...my uniform...but you can bet, the instant I enter the threshold of a building, the hat comes off. Personally, I lose immediate respect for any man that wears a hat indoors in a place of business. I teach that as a customer service skill to my employees.

As for pussy/bare breast shots....don't do much for me out of context! Your photos are so much more exciting!

The way it was, the way it should be....

Whew...that does feel good.

I wear a visor to let my bald spot tan when I am out in the sun

I find baseball hats gauche for most non-sporting events. I am a lawyer, but don't like the snobbism many attach to the professions. I find intelligence and sensitivity very sexy and not at all antithetical to hot sensuality. Generally more intelligent people have more imagination, humor and sexiness in my experience.
