Riding Bareback

Has anyone noticed that fucking "bare" has become a status issue for men?

Very nice men, men who not only shower daily but see their dentist reguarly and wear the proper amount of aftershave, seem obsessed by the desire to fuck a woman without a condom.

"Will you let me fuck you bare?" is a frequent question when I chat with potential play partners. "She lets me fuck her bare," a twenty-something said proudly about his non-exclusive g.f. "And I am the only one she lets do that!"

A wealthy older man once offered to be my sugar daddy, "but only if we are bare."

Maybe the issue is different for men and women. While a condom is a slight inconvenience for the woman I don't think it significantly changes the quality of our experience. And it sure makes clean-up easier! I have heard older men say that they stay hard longer bare (I have also heard the opposite, harder longer in condom).

But my sense is that men desire bareness more for the honor of it than the sensation.

What are other people's impressions and experiences?

I have to disagree with you on the sensation part for women. I know from experience that the minute I feel latex rubbing against my sensitive parts, I dry right up, and I've NEVER, EVER had that experience while barebacking in a committed relationship. I've learned to compensate for my body's dislike of condoms by using a silicone lube and a female condom on the guy's dick, which is sort of like fucking through a plastic bag but still better than the latex sensation, which is like fucking with a raincoat on. The truth is, I've decided there's real value in exclusivity just to be able to be "fluid bonded."

By the way, I really appreciated your thoughtful response to my blog question about "Do You Like Black Men?"

OK Pers...

I honestly thought I was going to have to pass this one up, but while mopping the kitchen floor this morning it came to me. My answer is not (as usual) going to reflect well on the male side of the species.

There is a point whan a man has a woman in the throws of passion where try as she might, sensation wins over common sense (and perhaps safey). I have been there and it is quite a compliment when she says "put it in me and fuck me now". While I would never brag about such a thing, (or am I now?), some guys have no scrupples or common sense. They realize that they had the sexual power over a womans common sense. To a man with lack of maturity, this is big stuff!

I have to admit that while I am very careful about who I date, safety may not be my strong suite. Half of the concern was gone eight years ago when some of my pipes were blocked to not allow certain seeds to reach the surface. The other half seems so insignificant when when you compare the concerns with what is going on in the moments just before a condom is installed. (I can hear all of the retorts now...I don't minimize the impact of SDs...that is a whole other subject).

Having said all this, this type of macho bravado bull-shit is just the kind of classless behavior that I have a hard time accepting from my male co-horts!

In a nut shell condoms suck but they are necessary. Wearing one can be like eating ice cream with a balloon on your tongue. Or wearing mittens and counting change. But STDs and unwanted pregnancies are REAL! Be careful, be resonsible. Cover your rig!
