Whew! More workout talk

Ok, I've been trying to keep track of my gym stuff here, so her goes.

We finally got down as far as I want to go (144 as weight) which is 12 pounds lost in a month and a half. So, I've been working with my trainer to put it back on (but healthier). On Sunday, I really followed through, getting in about six miles and a few other reps.

And, I have to admit, it is "paying off". I'm finding the hardest part about this whole thing is really the upper body excercises. I'm pretty happy with my overall leg strength, but when you're a computer guy, your upper body strength is so used to being used for more delicate work (everything from typing to sauter) But, I'm starting a three part upper body program and we'll see how it pans out.

I think I should change my picture here on AdultFriendFinder. It's actually pretty suprising how losing 12lbs effects your look in the face, it's like you go from "puffy" to thinned out quick. Jeez! And that pick isn't even that old!

Anyway, training went well this morning. I'm trying to work on building endurance as my primary goal. My end goal is that by next summer I would like to be able to complete a full marathon run (26.4). I don't plan to "run" it but if I can walk it within a day, then I will be very happy with those results. Now, we'll see if I can accomplish that!
