Can we stop with the plastic surgery?

I keep many clients in a lot of different businesses. But sometimes it stuns me the extent women will go to "pretty themselves up" as they put it, and I wonder what good it really does. I am not advocating walking around in trash, etc. etc. or keeping care of yourself, it just seems that some people make decisions that just baffle me.

Yesterday, a client I work with had me go over to their house to reconfigure their network for VPN services (never mind the geek prattle). Anyway, her daughter, SEVENTEEN years old, was home recovering from a breast augmentation surgery.

And I thought to myself: how f*(&ing retarded. The daughter was attractive beforehand, and last I checked, 17 doesn't mean she's finished growing into her full form. So, why start hacking away at the body now? I guess it must have seemed like a few grand "well spent" by those involved.

They start really young these days, don't they?

Yes they do. Shame. Some of them should watch a few episodes of Nip/Tuck Plastic surgery doesn't always make people more attractive.

it's the viciousness of high school and being singled out for abuse by the others for not "looking" right which is a really frivolous reason to do it however who wants to be the brunt of ridicule and scorn. if plastic surgery was an option for me when i was in high school i probably would have done it.
