The Easter Hamper Raffle

One of my housemates had his last day at work on Easter Thursday [Mouldy Thursday I mean Maundy Thursday or something] and during the send off party they drew the Social Club Easter Raffle.

Guess who won?

Yep, my housemate. He walks in that night with a celophane wrapped basket filled with all sorts of Easter goodies.

Net result is that since then we have been eating WAY WAY WAY too much chocolate.

I swear once this basket is empty and we have already given away some of the booty, I wont be eating any chocolate for a long while. A similar sort of aversion to chocolate happened after I visited the Cadbury Chocolate factory in Devonport Tasmania during my honeymoon in 1999. I could not even stand the smell of chocolate for months afterwards, and to think that the factory tour is designed to help boost sales.

Anyone else having a post Easter Chocolate and Hot Cross Bun tummy ache???

I'm going to bed to sleep this off.

You too Jim glad you survived your holiday adventure. Q, thou. If they make good German Potato Salad, doesnt it then follow that they would also make good German Chocolate????
Now if I find "Bunny" I'll send her over to you after I have had my wicked way with her. [Insert cheeky grin here]

"OI, Bunny where are you????"

Sorry Mustang - MaryAnne Is From Germany but been Staeside for the last 40 some years & a good cook,Dale can attest to that, but she doesn't make chocolet, She does however share some of her German Chocolet with me at Christmas that she gets from her sister in Germany. I figure it may be that long before you want chocolet again.
have a good one -Jim
