Mustang Sally and Alice in Wonderland

I think that its long overdue for me to introduce you to two very important "girls in fur coats" in my life, Ms Mustang Sally and Ms Alice in Wonderland. These two have been a part of my life for several years now and there was no way in hell I was going to let my ex just "have them put down" when we split and she suposedly gave her favorite dog Meg to a work friend of her sisters.
Mustang Sally is a Long Haired Chihuahua who I rescued from the side of the road near where I used to live, about 4 years ago. She was in a pitiful state and that scared that she bit me a drew blood, but strangely when I put her in the front of the van she just sat there and shut up. She terrified the vet staff where we took her in case somebody was looking for her, but nobody tried claiming her. Can you imagine a Chihuahua in a cage you can fit a German Shepherd in, growling and snapping with teeth bared. Well thats what she was doing when we picked her up from the vets.
Alice in Wonderland has been with me since she was a puppy and she is a Golden Retriever crossed with a Cocker Spaniel. She is a lovable dag and you can tell which brain is working [Retriever or Spaniel] by how her tail is wagging. Slow wagging is Retriever, fast wagging is Spaniel and big sweeping wags that will clear a coffee table are Retriever as well. She is a real garbage guts when it comes to food and the only dog food she has ever knocked back was the dry dog food from Aldi, everything else is delicious and devoured in seconds.
Both my girls love to travel in the van with me and are always ready to go off on an adventure, even if its just to the shops.
I owe them a lot as they helped to get me through what has been the toughest period of my life and their love is unconditional.

I think your blog about your dogs was very heart warming. It shows what type of man that you are, and how special your dogs lives mean to you.

Unconditional love is only available from two sources in this whole world ... mothers and dogs! Great pic!

TT you as always are on the money. Dogs certainly are man's best friend when treated with love and they just want to be with you and dont care how much you earn or where you live. A feed, a pat, and a place to sleep lot like a bloke really.
