Life should be nice and simple... Dontcha think?

The outing yesterday was a nice time. I would have loved to take some of the more challenging trails, but his bike wasn't up for it. Any intermediate to advanced riders out there who want to take a platonic bike ride with a free spirited wild-woman? I tell you this much, it's a great way to get to know someone. I'm so bummed he got to crash and burn and I didn't - It's just not a great ride unless you get into some sort of crash! *GRIN*

Too bad you live in Chicago. That is a city I visited many times in the past.

I would love to find somebody of the opposite sex who would love to do some riding.

But all they want is sex. LOL

It is good to hear that a lady in my age group is doing this kind of activity.

Hey Steve,

If you ever get over to Chicago again, let me know. I have an extra mountain bike.

Thanks for the kind offer.

I did some truck driving a few yrs ago and Chicago was a regular stop. I went there at least 3 times a month.

I remember the construction when you cross the Indiana / Illinois state line and the traffic jams.

Sometimes I went to Wisconsin too.

Good luck on finding a bike partner.

Would love to find someone around here to bike with - granted I'm more amateur because I haven't been out that much since getting my back 11 years ago.

The Rocky Mountains offer a lot to do for activities & I did manage to get out rollerblading yesterday after 2 years; just need to work on skiing again.

I've got family around Chicago (outside in Indiana mainly) - been a while since I've been through there myself. Shedd aquarium is incredible - been there twice over the years.
