Snow across the westcountry, especially in Cornwall had a smattering in our village and riding the bike to work was a little hairy, not to mention bloody cold.

So lovely to see crisp virgin snow. To plunge ones hand into it to leave and oasis of green amidst a desert of white. Gorse bushes coated with snow and seemingly frozen in time. A strange almost skeletal landscape of leafless trees and snow coated shrubs.

To feel the fresh, icy coldness against my skin. The sharp intake of breath as the initial shock of the sensation of its touch, then the urgent desire to dive headlong into drifts, immersed in sea of freezing whiteness. Pity it's gonna melt.

Love the snow.
