Sex and the world

Now I'm not well breed in college words and I don't have any PHD's etc... so what you read here comes from a cut of the human race that has some intelligence, and the school of hard knocks. Sex has been around since the beginning of time. Without it....duhhhh we wouldn't be here. But what is it?
In the beginning...it simply was for reproduction. Even in the age of the cave man. There was no romance, no candy, no flowers....just sex. An instinct. But somehow down through the ages we as humans have cluttered it up with rules. So let's look at what has happened (as best we can). It may be a bit dry and boring at first but if you take the time to stay with me here you'll see what I'm getting at.
Twenty-five thousand years ago Paleolithic Wo/Man depended upon hunting to survive and sex to reproduce. Gods were created, one for sun, rain, the moon, etc. Agriculture was developed and the need for hunting became less important. Around 22,000-18,000 BCE, their Gods now were looked upon more as Gods of Nature one of which was the Goddess of fertility and rebirth. But for this subject I'll stick to the fertility side of it. At this time, rituals were developed for success. These rites varied across Europe from tribe to tribe. The human race was a very superstitious race. Time pasted and Christianity was develop (by man) and evolved over thousands of years. Keep in mind that this is not an article against any religious path tho it may sound like it. Pope Gregory the Great, 17th century BCE, made an attempt at mass conversion as well as Zoroaster (Zarathustra), in Persia, who's concept was an all loving God (all good) and an opposite (all evil God), which was picked up and blended by the christians. And so over time, sexual rites vanished and but the urge was still there. By this time, kings ruled the lands (with great influence from the church) and control over the masses was needed. Thus King James commanded his monks to write up a basic concept of LAW which we now use as the King James bible...... but what about the sex you ask???? As children we were programed to believe that sex was evil/sinful and not to be spoken of. Puritan???? Somewhat. As growing adults our hormones became quite strong and I'm sure most of us did our thing behind close doors in our adolescence. As we grew older and hopefully more mature our minds became some what open minded. Well at least for some of us. Then came the '60's!!! "Make love not war" was the motto. Drugs ran abundant and sexual inhibitions were shed. The human race became divided. Openminded hippiness taught their children that nudity and sex was something not to be ashamed of but respected. On the other hand, the other side continued to drum their puritian ways. The world changed, latch key kids became a reality and parents just didn't have the time to sit down and explain sex to their children. So most of us learned from the bunny magizine, our friends and myths we heard. Now that the century has turned, there is much confusion about sex. But theres become an openness now that is excepted. Look at where you are now...in AdultFriendFinder. This never would have gotten off the ground back in the 50's if we had had computers then. Oh sure many of the XXX sites would probably have made it.. somehow. but think about it.. we've come along way and almost in a circle, back to the begining. Sex... it's fun, it's happening, it's here. So where do we go from here?

Well, you seem to understand something of history, and you argue your points, very well.
