Moment of Truth

So, you decide to try something new, sign up to a site like AdultFriendFinder and let your imagination go for what might happen. Everyone does it, I'm sure. And I'm sure the thoughts are pretty damn good.

You patrol the plethora of profiles, posts, replies, and mails searching for what peaks your interest most. That one < or more then on, depending > that will suit your thoughts or fantasies best.

It's a long hard road at times in this world of www.com. Allot of BS, folks who like to play games, liars, etc. How do you honestly know who/what to believe.

You make contact, or reply to the contact that was made. Some mindless chatter goes on for awhile and some very interesting conversation as well.

You finally find that one who fits the bill. This person might have what you are looking for. There is only one way to find out for sure. Have to trust your instinct and meet them.

You take that big gulp and set something up. And from that instant of defined action, you get excited, scared, nervous, maybe even a little giddy. I'm sure it has happened to all, admittedly or not.

Question for today is:

Do you hold anything back or lay it all on the table and gamble the house on the newly found?

Do you hold some in reserve so as to be protective of sorts if the bottom falls out?

And if you do hold back, are you giving it an even chance to survive and grow, if it were to do so?

Just my usual rambling in the vast darkness that is me...

Feel free to comment, please. I would enjoy the feedback.
