Well..This One Will Probably Step On A Few Toes..

Seems like no matter how hard I try..I can't stay away from writing about things that may cause some folks to get pissed. That's not why I write about some of the things I write about..really. It's all about sharing what I learn..and hopefully making people think.. expanding mind and considering ideas that may not have occurred to you before.

There is a book named OAHSPE. It is also called the New Bible. This book was supposedly channeled by a man in the 1800's.. just as much of the Bible was supposedly channeled..inspired. 10 years before he wrote it..he had a visitation by an angel..who told him he had to purify himself..eat only the things that grew from the earth..no animal flesh. This would change his vibration and enable him to see and hear the higher planes and beings who dwell there.

This book is now published..every 10 years or so. I've had my copy for nearly twenty years. The things I have read there..have expanded my mind..and helped me look at the world in a different way.

There is one thing..it points out..that is at complete odds with what most of humanity seems to think.

Basically it is this:

The BEAST came to man and tempted him.
Told him that all things upon the earth were his. Man obeyed the Beast..and war came into the world.

The Beast divided itself into four heads.
The names of the four heads of the Beast were
Brahmin..Buddhist..Christian and Mohammedan.

These four aspects of the Beast..divided the earth and apportioned it between them. Choosing soldiers and armies for the maintenance of their earthly aggrandizement.

Man went to the Beast and asked him to stop the wars..but the Beast replied..No Peace..there is only the Sword.

OAHSPE tells us there will be a period of time when there will be two beliefs..those who believe in and honor the Creator..will be called Faithists. This belief adheres to no religion..but espouses the divinity and worthiness of all humanity.

The other belief system will be those who adhere to religion and worship one of the four heads of the Beast..they will be called Uzians..which means destroyers.

The Creator..knows NO religion. There will come a time..when the four heads of the Beast shall be put away..and war shall be no more.

Look at what is happening in the world today and in past centuries. Every single religion has the blood of millions upon it's hands. They have ignored the commandment THOU SHALT NOT KILL. And they have corrupted the all encompassing message. We are all one in the divine. Treat others..as we ourselves would be treated.

very interesting. i do believe we are all one, and don't really understand other people's "common sense" view of the importance of national borders, culture, etc. as meaningful constructs. it is because i know all is one that i feel able to make any meaningful contribution in this world at all; if all is one, then my actions and choices have impact and do not get swallowed up in the infintismal.

sure i am not perfect and make a lot stupid mistakes when i should have learnt better, but this belief does prevent me from giving into apathy ... and that is what i see as the biggest ill in the world ... people do actually know what is right and wrong but they don't really do a thing about it...

more than anything i wish i had the remedy for apathy...

Absolutely. I had the fortune or misfortune to have a Catholic dad and a Jewish mom...living in a small redneck Texas town. The Blacks, Mexicans and Jews were "them" and as a kid I remember the fire in front of our house when the Klan burned a cross. We got run out of the town.

I had a Revelation a few years ago and founded the First Church of Generic Religion. The concept was exactly the same...God didn't create religions. Men did. And the problem is they've been branching and fighting with each other killing millions and justifying destruction of the planet and all life. GenRel takes the best wisdom of all religions and combines them into one truth. This started as sort of a joke and I was chartering churches for $25. When I issued a charter for a church in Japan, I realized I had accidentally started a world religion. 2000 years from now I'm sure the story will be much different.

Free...
If you ever get the opportunity..check out the book. It's fascinating.

Fastfifties...
Thanks for coming by Joe. Your comment is always welcome.

Dig...
Glad it makes you think. Try a "New Age" shop in your area..to find the book.

Punt...
All religions spring from the same source. All those sages..took the seed and planted it in different soil. Then those that came after them..added the weeds.

Spunky...
I think if most people were to really listen to their inner voice..they'd come to pretty much the same thought.

I did leave the information you requested on your blog.

Dusty...
Most people have come to know it as "Thou shall not kill". It is also stated that way in "OAHSPE"..therefore I stated it the same way here. Either way..makes sense to me.

Thanks for posting this idea. I recently mentioned to someone that I have studied the world's religions and nothing stuck. That was a wholey inaccurate thing for me to say. Truth is... many wonderful practices from each religion *stuck.*

In fact, a Sufi teacher (whom I trust with my life) told me that folks should delve deeply into the religion into which they are born. I took her seriously and tried to fit into the the Christian community for more than two years! I dove deeply for pearls and wondered why in the world my fellow Christians weren't doing the same. It was (is) quite frustrating to be *worshiping* with folks who make spirituality a matter of knowledge or politics or social gain.

Only in the past few months did I realize the gift my Sufi teacher gave me in her advice. By attempting to stick by these "brothers and sisters in Christ" I developed such a compassion and ability to accept them (and myself) as human and simply choose to move forward.

There are so many great (and unique) gifts in each religion I have studied. I am, however, most grateful that I got to take a look at Christianity through the eyes of one who knows a bit about the other religions. It seems to me that all of "the good stuff" is in the bible. It just gets overlooked by the myopic majority.

Thanks for creating this discussion and giving me a space to express this gratitude for the many practices I have learned.

Lovin...
You're very welcome. As stated in the post..it is to hopefully make people think. Not convert to my way. The seeds of the basic truths exist in all religions. What's important is that people get to their potentials..in their own best ways.

Thank you.

I identify with everything written here. I never had the words to understand why religions exist in their early and current states.

Now I have one more strike of the hammer to split the boulder of religious practice and beliefs.

Hi..and welcome to my blog. Thanks for stopping and commenting.

I guess..people need something to look up to..and to explain their existence. Somewhere along the line..it's been hijacked by people who want to control and manipulate others.

Thanks for sharing with us Kiss. Like many, I don't understand organized religion and how it can justify it actions now or through history. I too will seek a copy of OAHSPE. Knowledge is power.
