Why do you Blog?

Why do you Blog? Do you blog to express yourself and ideas?. Do you blog for a cause or do you blog for purposes of debate? Do you blog to entertain via erotic writing and such or do you blog for free silver orbs? Not referring to paid memberships. I blog for all but the orbs as blogging gives me a means of expression in writing and in that i intend to open eyes about certain subjects in a truthful manner.

I look for blogs that are entertaining, funny, sexy, intellectual, but a HUGE turn off to me is people that blog for attention and host participative blogs over and over to YES increase readership/blog visits. They reply to every blog they come in contact with in hopes of getting a response to their blog....You know if i made a blog and typed * I wanna fuck you over and over* as the title, I would get 100 times more hits then something less jaw dropping*

So again i ask you why do you blog on passion.com?

I also ask, do you feel obligated to reply to a persons blog because they replied to yours for the sole purpose that they may come back to your blog? Or do you reply simply because your inspired/want to.

You know blogs have been around for ages they just changed the name from a usenet newsgroup to a blog basically and made it web page based verses newsreader format every email program possesses.

Ok off to count sheep

Kirk,

We started out bloggine for the fun of it and for the creative expression. In doing so, we started seeing some things we didn't like - especially with some of the "Most Active" bloggers.

We decided to try ande become a "Most Active" blogger honestly. Now that we have accomplished this task, we've decided to retire - its become a "dirty business" with too many people. (This comment specifically EXCLUDES the likes of mzhunyhole, Whispersoftly6, and several others).

The up side to all of this is that it is comforting to know that one can obtain wide viewership honestly, by respecting others (responding to their comments), by writing original thoughts and material, without hyjacking or plugging their blog on someone else's site, etc.

Most importantly, we have made marvelous cyber friends such as you!

See 'ya around,
Team Bambi

Mzhunyhole,

I love your blog in fact its one of the very few that i at least read every time i'm online. Your blog is funny, interesting and inquisitive. You write from a perspective of who you are of which i adore. You are your own person and like me don't give a shit about what other people think of you as they either accept who you are or they don't. When i write i do so to stimulate thoughts of others and get responses because people are interesting to me... I don't write for or play the blog readership numbers game as i'm referring to in the initial post. Keep on doing what you do dear.

I would hate to see you go dear. In fact your one of the reasons I'm still blogging here on passion.com.. After all there are numerous other
blog sites on the internet a person can use are their not. I most certainly enjoyed using you as an erotic playmate in my sex blogs simply because you are erotic, sensual and all that Lady B.. Makes it easy to write when the subject is actually hot . Thank you for allowing me to use you ... I don't blog or write everyday as with my writing i write when im inspired to write not because i feel compelled to fill a slot.
If you enjoy writing stick around and don't worry about those that are bothersome as they can be blocked or banned on this site. Do it because you want to and for that reason along Connie!
