We need to buy our country back.

I know your thinking what the fuck does he mean by saying "We NEED to buy our country back" right? Well i was out at Wal-mart last weekend and was shopping with family members and well i needed some new socks so i went to the sock rack.

I pick up a pack of Fruit of the Loom socks and just for shits in grins check the back of the package. Made in Pakistan. I mean come on it hasn't always been this way has it? I then pick up a package of socks made by "Starter" and checked where they were made. They were "Made in USA". Which one do you think i bought? Your damn right the Starter brand.

With that being said we can't place all the blame of lost manufacturing jobs on our government can we? We are buying the cheap of cheap prices and most times that isn't made in our country. Do you care because i do. Americans got caught up and are in fact addicted to the bargain deal.

Well thats all fine and dandy until you look at the big picture of a mother having trouble feeding her child because she is without work that she once had that closed down and shipped there business to slave labor markets overseas. Can a single person make a difference? I say hell yes and i do every time i buy a product with the tag Made in the USA on it.

Will you pay extra for a product thats made here at home in the great ole USA on it? I will

    Actually, I would....
Fact is, why SHOULD we have to buy back our country? Most of the countries OWE us money..that will NEVER be repaid!!, from World War one and 2, and other wars, where we gave money to help THEM rebuild...
Actually the United States has an ever increasing amount of foreign debt ie meaning they *foreign countries* bought treasury bonds that are worthless until the money is recieved in purchase of them *more debt*.. Some of the largest companies in the U.S. are also foreign owned. But i agree we have loaned out large sums of money to countries that will probably not be seen but we also know that free trade is anything but free.

Preferably union made.

Would you believe that India is the place for recent grads in tech support? You might still end up talking to an American, just over there. Our system is fucked up.
