10 things I learned along the way

Guilt is the burden carried by those who do not effectively self-justify.

Freedom is only achieved when there is nothing left to lose or fear.

Confidence is the reward for using a convincing attitude to bluff self-doubts.

Imagination is the motivation of possibilities.

Self- acceptance is relief from the burden of regrets.

Happiness is not a right, it’s a privilege. Suffering is neither a right nor a privilege, but it is a guaranteed as a price we pay for living.

I have come to realize that I am happy just being content and that too high of an expectation of happiness is stressful and the reason no happiness is achieved at all. Content is my new happy.

The more you have, the more you have to worry about losing. Man should not become a slave to his possessions.

Many of my best adventures were the result of acting on an impulse or a whim.

Over- analyzing killed more cats than curiosity ever did.

I must say I am as happy and content as I have been at anytime in my life now and only you can know and understand this.(not to mention your wonderful ability to sum it up in words)AS you know I have no lack of Confidence, Imagimation or Self-acceptance but I do have a lack of understanding of my purpose on this fucking rock and there must be a purpose cause as you know I've tried to get off this ride.Maybe I should try Over-analyzing but since I'm happy now maybe I'll just keep with my "I DON"T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT ANYTHING" attitude.

EXCEPT FOR YOU OF COARSE.........I love you sweetie

Every time I come to your blog to read your posts, you make me think deeply and I'm tempted to proceed to an analysis. But you are very right saying that over-analysis kills more cats than curiocity. Some things are meant to me, others not. We can't understand everything, but at least we can try to understand ourselves. Over-analysis also loses the essence of things.

So don't worry I'm not gonna analyze anything from the thoughtful points you made. I just wanna re-state what you said about freedom using the following quote: "I don't expect anything, I don't fear anything; I'm absolutely free" (by Kazanztakis, author of The Last Temptation of Christ, Zorba the Greek, Ascetism, etc.)

Well easy to say but hard to do. Another quote I like is:
"If we cannot be free at least we can be cheap" (by Frank Zappa). The concept of cheapness here doesn't mean undervalue but it attacks the materialism and over-commercialization and it means what you very nicely stated: "The more you have, the more you have to worry about losing. Man should not become a slave to his possessions".

Okay you grew up in the States and you are an American but as we say in my country "the blood cannot become water". So I can see a Servian partisan soul who doesn't afraid to take any challenge, knows how to fight and how to laugh even in the most tragic moments ( see the recent war in Yugoslavia). And yes you are a modern mighty Aphrodite with no doubt....mountain Olympus is not far from Servia so I think your roots are from there

I think you are way too complicated a woman for me to analyze. So how do you say "Fuck You" in Serbian.

Is not self-justification just an excuse?

TwiztedCharm, good advice, when in doubt, just go with the FUK IT attitude, then mean it. LuvU2.

Young102, bet your never thought you would be coming to an Adult site to think deeply, huh? Like buying playboy for the articles! I am going to pull out my old geography books and see just how close I might tied to those mountains- you are absolutely right and I can’t believe I never thought of that! Good looking out! 

Saint, I know I won’t spell it right so here it is Phonetically: E-D Koo-Dass

jynxgurl. My spin your idea of ice cream and chocolate, would be that they would equate to true happiness if they didn’t equate to true FAT on my big ol’ butt!

Art_persists- ABSO-FUKIN-LUTELY it is! And it has worked for me like a charm my whole life! Try it, you’ll like it.

Plano69, I wish you were inside cha cha cha

imBambi, welcome back, Bam!

JudeL5- well, although I do admit to smoking marijuana, I DID NOT INHALE *hoping that works for me as well as it did for Bill Clinton*

Sexyfitwoman, you are very welcome, thanks for saying so.

Sillyperv, you took the words right out of my mouth!

I really like what you have written, thanks for sharing that with all of us. Is just a shame that some have to accept this truth by either humouring it or tainting it with abuse like "saintlianna"...
