day 19 - My day off - cant we all get along??

Well, despite my prevous post, I do have somethig to say tonight.

Today is day 19 without a ciggarette. I have also gained 5 pounds in the last 19 days, so curbing my eating habits is now becoming important as well. I guess it isnt so much how much I eat, but what I eat. I just need to eat healthier. any suggestions???...lol

As for my day, I pretty much sat here and read the blogs and watched the Daytona 500. not a very exciting day, but it was better than being at work, I suppose. I was a little upset with the results of the 500, but it was an exciting race, and no one got hurt.

While surfing the blogs, I discovered that most people get along, and for some, they cant help themselves from being rude, obnoxious, and just plain a$$hole$. sweet little [blog PurryKItty2] got attacked for no good reason, and we all know what a cool kat she is .

I will never understand why people argue over the internet. When you are on a message board type situation, such as a Blog, you can see he written word, but it is difficult to understand the tone it is written, unless you know the person well enough to know what kind of person they are. People that dont understand run a chance of taking something out of context, thus missing the entire meaning of what the person was actually trying to sday. I have learned over the years from being a member of several different sites that you have to take most of what is said with a grain of salt and take it for what it is, the internet. You sometimes forget that at the other end of that post or Blog, there is a living breathing human being with feelings and emotions. A lot of the blogs I read are very well written, and the emotions of the person are easy to see.

ok, enough of my preaching.

How was your day??

I have never understood the online bickering myself. Why engage, just ignore it and they will go away.

Congrats on your 19 days smoke free!!

Peaches are always a good food choice!

Purry is a great lady... I'm not sure what was said, but I know that she's a big girl and can probably handle herself. I agree w/ you that some people have no life and are rude. I have no life, but I don't believe that I'm rude. I just tend to ignore these losers. I'm glad that you're showing your support. That's awfully nice of you!

That happens everywhere, really!! I'm on tons of sites and people attack others for nothing. I normally hit the ignore or block or ban button Other times, I will answer them back in a nice way to show more grace than they have shown to me.
