On Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer....

Day 15, still smoke free, and feeling like I have turned the corner on this thing. My urge to smoke has dwindled to the point where I only have two or three cravings a day. The one thing I have to control is my eating. I am concerned I will begin to eat more, and gain about 20 pounds. This is the only major concern I have.

Valentines day came and went, I didnt get laid, and spent a lot of the day with my son. The ex recently bought a car and wanted me to go with her to get the stereo put in. She also was considering buying sattelite radio, but me being the cooler head advised her to hold off a while until her and her hubby have more money. The initial investment is a little steep (over $100 even with the inexpensive receiver) and she needs to focus more on spending their money on more practical things like food and electricity. No matter how old she gets, I will still think of her as the 17 year old I met 13 years ago...

While we were at Circuit City, I tried out the XBox 360 and was impressed. I am not willing to fork out the $400 plus to buy it though, so I will stick with my PS2. I did pick up a George Thorogood CD (30 year anniversary) and it is a great CD. I am a big fan of George, and have even done a song or two of his on Karoke nights at Planet 9-Ball(*blush*). He is going to be in Tampa on March 9, and am thinking about going to see him.

Based on the responses I got from my last post, I guess I think to hard and go a little deeper and harder than I should in regards to asking questions of my readers. I will try and not get so personal, controversial, and tone it back a bit. I should be having fun with this, not maiking it difficult on myself or on you folks

I have been pondering what to ask today and drew a blank. there are so many questions out there I am not sure which one to ask today.

Let's see....

Besides the blogs, what is your favorite feature about AdultFriendFinder? Your least favorite?

Until next time....

*hugs*

It's your blog, ask whatever you would like to ask.

Honestly, the blogs are the only think keeping me on this friendly site.

Hello there, I have read your blogs with interest. You seem like a wonderful man. I felt bad reading your story about the woman you met and loved. It is a tough situation....while I am married (but getting divorced) I also fell in love with a married man...we are not together anymore and I am happy that he is not the reason I am getting divorced. Maybe the woman you fell in love with feels the same way. You never can predict the future. I believe there is more than one "right" person for someone. I think you need to take some risks and sometimes you may get hurt, but if you never take the risk you will never know.
I have met some good men on this site as well...I think there are all types. Aside from the Blogs, I do enjoy sometimes sitting back with my coffee and reading the men's Handles....truly hilarious at times how men market themselves. Anyway, wishing you the best and hoping one day you will find what you deserve in life!

I am glad you are doing so well with not smoking....

My fav thing besides blogging is chatting. My least fav is no one is serious about meeting and if they do they lied about what they look like!!!

Caress,

Thanks for the encouragement, I appreciate it. I guess I have a tendency to think a little too much when it comes to my questions, but you are right, it is my blog, and I will just go with it..

TheRealThing,

Thaks for reading, I appreciate it. As for being a wonderful man, well thats sometimes up for a vote between my Ex-Wife and my co-workers....lol for the most part I like to treat people like I wanted to be treated (yes I know it's so cliche').

As for my "love", I do understand why she made the decision she did, and I respect her for that. Doesn't make it any easier, but I am glad her family is still together and that she is now doing very well.

I have not met any women on this site yet, but I have not been very active either since joining a little over two years ago. I would prefer to meet women in my area (Tampa), but alas, there are none as yet that have really piqued my interest, or if they have, I was not what they were looking for.

there is someone out there, I just have to sort through it all to find her...

thanks again,

*hugs*
