Men have the ability to detach themselves from the act....

Like an animal. My theory would be that men are horrible less evolved when it comes to emotions, and are therefore able to leave the emotions out of the act of sex. Evolution would also suggest that a man would want to procreate often, whereas a woman would want a single mate to aid in the nuturing and protection of offspring.

So the question is.... Is it true that some woman are happy with no strings attached sexual relationships???

If so, what do they get from it?

You almost have it JR. Your close to that jewel. Keep at it brother... you'll get it soon.

It is genetic... and it's ancient in our animal history. We each have a role, male and female... Once we all realize what you *almost* have there, life gets really great!

Don't stop JR... you'll get to the real matter soon.

I've known women who could smoke most men's asses in the "detachment from the act" category. They are not in the majority but I would still claim that any idea that women cannot do this is pure illusion. The ones who can seem to be even more skilled at it than the men.

Each individual (both male and female) is such a complex entity that there can be no one answer for your final question there.

This would match my experience.... Many women who get involved in casual sex seem to be looking for something.. or confuse sex with emotional attachment.

Can a women have an emotionally satisfying relationship with one man and have nothing but animal instinct sex with another?

Great responses.... I am certain that individuality shapes a lot of what a women or man needs or wants.... A couple of questions:

Do most women require that sex and emotion come as a total package or can a woman have an emotional relationship with one man and a purely sexual relationship with another man?

Can a woman feel lust in the same manner as a man? (Can you walk through the mall with a boyfriend or husband and think to themselves.... "He is hot and I would love to jump his bones right now!!!"?

Sex is sex and love is love sometimes they meet and sometimes not. But I still need there to be a deeper connection to let you that close to me.

I have been on this site for over a year now and have met some incredible men. Of those, I have met a few that fall into the "great fuck buddy category". Those are the ones that truly understand what I am looking for which is "a no strings relationship". I may be in the minority but I am simply looking to have great sex with someone I consider a friend. I have someone I love very much and am not looking to replace him, rather to find someone that can provide what he cannot - sexual satisfaction. So my answer is yes, there are some of us that can truly handle the sexual relationship without falling in love with someone.
