The Patriot Guard

Thank god for these MEN and WOMEN....that take the time out of their busy lives, and go to the funerals of fallen heros, to keep the TRASH from the family. and friends while burying thier loved ones. HOW sad it is to see this in this day and age! What has become of Compassion?

I have no family members in the military, but have friends their...And I can not imagine what these family members go thru, when burying a loved one, and see these protestors... but THANK GOD for these MEN AND WOMEN, who ride in, with their flags and protect these families from hearing the ugly words, and seeing those signs.

I was watching the news the other day, and seen a protest on a funeral, and I can say, I was sooo pissed!!!!! And hurt..and grieved along with these families..They have lost a son or daughter, mom, or dad, friend, aunt, uncle..And THESE people...bring their kids, with signs,,with vile names and words...

I can not express my gratitude for these MEN AND WOMEN...for doing this for the family...And one day would like to meet some members of the Patriot Guard...What an honor that would be! Once again, Thank you....its nice to see that the world has not gone completly MAD!

"I commend the Patriot Guard Riders, a group of dedicated individuals who upon seeing an injustice, chose to rise up and not permit anyone to dance on sacred ground. At funerals around the country, they have ridden in on their motorcycles, with American flags waving, signaling to those present that they are there to protect the families as they mourn their loss."
- Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs Steve Buyer (IN)

I agree with you, my hat is off to all veterns and those who gave the supreme , life it's self, so we could basicly do as we please. We totaly take our freedoms way to lightly.

I am not a member of the Patriot Guards but I am a member of the Blue Knights and I have gone to a funeral in Guymon Ok and one in Oklahoma City and the Patriot Guards were there. They are pretty good at organizing and are a well mannered bunch. They are doing a good job and I believe that they will only show up at a funeral that they have been invited to. The funeral at Guymon also had a large Oklahoma Highway Patrol presence. They had a riot squad and the OHP had a small plane up looking for the kooks out of Topeka. But the people out of Topeka did not show.
