And when I woke up, half my pillow was gone!

I guess I should have seen it coming. What is it they say? The brightest Candles burn the shortest.

I feel like I have been in a daze since Saturday night.

It dawned on me then that I have been looking through very hopeful rose-colored glasses for the last few months... What I wished could be...

She travels all over the country for work... She'll be gone for the next 3 weeks... She never ignores her cellphone when she's here, I always set mine to silent... I seem to hit voicemail a lot when I call her... She's driven, which I admire a lot, but it is bordering on dangerous to her health.

DAMN! I guess I DID have unspoken expectations after all... Well, maybe more like strong wishes that things would go differently.

I care about her very much, but right now she has other things in her eyes besides me... Her work, her ambitions, her desires... All these things I would be happy to help her with - and have offered... She never said it, but I can see her life has no room for a relationship right now. When she said she wanted to move in together, I think it was because it would be easier for work to crash in Orlando than where she is now. I'll still see her when she's passing through, but I don't know if we'll blesh like we did before...
In between...
I'll miss her...

I wish her peace and serenity.
I wish her happiness.

And when I awoke,
I was alone,
This bird had flown.
So I lit a fire.
Isn't it good,
Norwegian Wood.

Going to find a place in Orlando next week... Time to get back into things and make something happen with my ambitions.

HAve a great day, all!
