George Bush visits the UK on a state visit, and gets chatting with the Queen.
"You know Queenie? I like what you've got here, a kingdom. I think I'll have me a kingdom too."

"But George," The Queen replies patiently. "You can't be a kingdom, because a kingdom needs a king. And you're not a king."

"Okay then," Dubya replies. "A principality then. I think I'll make me a principality."

"But you're not a Prince either George, so you can't be a principality either."

"That's okay." Dubya retorts, attempting to save some pride. "How about an empire then? I'll have me an empire!"

"Again George, to be an empire, you have to have an emperor, and I'm sorry to break it to you, but you're no emperor..."

The President falls silent, deep in thought. The Queen pats him reassuringly on the arm.

"You know George? I think you're doing just fine as you are. As a country..."

Apologies to any Pro-Bushites out there in blogland... Those who wield power are targets for derision, and with Bush, it's a pretty damn big target...
