Today, as I'm walking home from the grocery where I have my payroll cheque cashed, something dawned on me.

Strapped to my back there were no less than fourty pounds of assorted food products, and snot is running down the back of my throat from constant sniffling. I'm walking down the street, gasping for breath when an undermaintained schoolbus coughs up rancid desiel smoke further irritating my desperate need for oxygen. People are pointing and making rude comments, because I look like a homeless man with my framepack and fingerless gloves. I am mocked by the 7-11 attendant for making my breakfast of their overpriced crap. I am feeling rather perturberd by the whole of my existance when I realize this:

I hate civilization.

And turned to dust...

Will we remain entrenched in our ways?"

In our branding and sorting, we have decided that those who carry large frame packs or ride bicycles are somehow lower than the rest of us. yet, many a story is told of the man who bought the store because the staff would not serve him.... I ride a bicycle and people look at me as below them since I'm not in an automobile. The truth is that my riding is fiscally, environmentally, healthily responsible. Stick to that conviction and realize that the world will gradually change. It has to or we will be like locusts with no food in sight....
