Getting by with a Little Help

My perception seems skewed. I’m not talking about my vision, you know colors, shapes, forms stuff like that. I’m talking about charting a course in my social environment...okay mostly women. So I’m relying heavily on my friends. My friends don’t want me to say their names in my blog. No they aren’t just in my head…I think. My friends have a cue. Whenever I tell them that I'm planning on doing something that they don’t think I should do, they start singing the song “Hey Jude.” It reminds me that sometimes I can’t trust my own judgment. It means stop. It’s their way of telling me that I’m about to come off wrong. I might come off like a stalker, might make some enemies, might end up in jail. I have to admit their instincts are pretty keen. So I going to continue to rely on them and not those voices in my head.

It's great to have friends, isn't it? I can almost hear them all break into a round of "Hey Jude"! How far do they have to get before you realize what they are doing?

Yeah, it's great to have them. I'm pretty obtuse sometimes. I have to admit, they have made it through the song twice before I realized.

Friends are the best barometer a person can have. I trust mine, implicitly and totally...

They can view without prejudice. It's cool.
