Your Body is a Taco Stand

Now, this is apparently what John Mayer once sang to amuse himself during an otherwise routine sound check. But all too often, the lyrics to songs are just garbled or ambiguous enough (or the listener is just hearing-challenged enough) for the words to come out just a little off. My dad is one. Here are a few of his, and other people's, common misperceptions:

"Excuse me while I kiss this guy" - Jimi Hendrix

"Shake and bake, shake and bake your love" - Debbie Gibson

"Bingo Jed had a light on" - Steve Miller Band

For some reason, other classic examples are slipping my mind. But these are a good start. Anyone got more good ones?

Who can forget the Rolling Stones classic, "I'll never be your pizza burning"

One of my personal favorites (and it was on a commercial some time ago):
"Pour some shook-up Ramen"- Def Leppard
