Self-absorbed American Seeks Patient Italian

*sigh* Looking through "recently posted blogs" I'm noticing a few that are from Italian men. Oh, I do love Italian men! I love their flair, their style, their culture... and I love their language, but no longer speak or, sadly, understand it... and so I'm officially lost. I caught myself wishing they would provide English translations... how Ameri-Centric of me. (I think I invented a new word, there...) So, all you handsome and charming Italian men - particularly those that might ever visit Texas - know that I'm not ignoring you. I've just fallen victim to my own poor memory. Mi dispiace.

I suppose Italian-Americans don't count?

Ciao...

Grazie, caro... Me, I'm northern Italy... my great-grandparents were from Aqcuafredda and Genoa. And I make a damn good lasagna.

Sicilian over here. My grandfather came over from the island when he was a teen. My grandmother was born on this side, but also from Sicilian parents.

Love to taste your lasagna sometime. I've got some spicy marinara that's hard to beat.
