Gentlemen, start your engines

I hate to admit this... and it's right up there with the Billy Squier/ Rick Springfield admission... But this weekend I took the kidlets to see "Herbie Fully Loaded."

Now, I really don't like that girl that I refer to as "that little Lindsay Lohan bitch" (although "Mean Girls" was hysterical) but I have to admit, the movie was really cute. I would actually see it again, and not just because... oh, I'm losing count of embarrassing admissions... not just because I hold a residual crush on Matt Dillon... The movie itself was cute. Surprised me, because I never watched any of the old Herbie movies.

Here's the funny thing. I'm already something of a speed demon, and since seeing the movie I've caught myself doing 75 a time or three. But more than that - I want to go watch some races. We have a few tracks in the area, from what I understand, but I've never been to one and don't know the first thing about racing. Well, that's not quite true, I DO know the first thing about racing - Jeff Gordon is undeniably hot. But I know very little else. Still, now I'm hoping someone will come along and offer to take me to the races.

And then I'll have one more thing I get hooked on that takes time away from little things like sleep. LOL

lol the races are alot of fun but don't forget the ear plugs!

I really want to take the kids to see it actually but I don't think the budget is going to stretch that far, maybe next term I will take them...

The races are a lot of fun regardless of the type of car you're watching.
