Drumroll, Please...

I'm stunned, in the best possible way. Checked my grades today (thinking they wouldn't even be posted yet) and discovered that in the class I was sure I'd be super-killer-mega-lucky to get better than a C... I in fact got an A... as well as in my other class! So, after my first full year (which, granted, is only part-time and so was only four classes) of graduate school, I currently hold a 4.0 GPA.

WOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

And now, off to Girl Scout camp for a whole weekend. Yeah, I'm a Scout mom.

Good job! That's so awesome, and definitely something to be proud of! Keep up the good work, and have fun at camp this weekend.

Goos Job on the grades Baby! Now...I'll take 1 box of thin mints, 1 box of peanut butter cookies, and a triple serving of YOU!

Many many thanks for everyone's warm wishes; I'm still absolutely floating over my grades (though now that I've gotten an A in what I anticipated as my hardest class for my whole grad school career, I can't really slack off anywhere else)... and now also floating over your response. Such fun, to become entrenched in a supportive community!

Judybats, my dear, this weekend was my first contact of any kind with scout camping, and indeed my first non-RV-involved camping trip since I was younger than my daughters are now. The troop this weekend was 14 little Brownies, though since my oldest bridged on the last day, I am now the proud mama of a Brownie and a Junior. And NJ, my girls sold a total between them of over 700 boxes of cookies this year, though in part that was due to my soldier projects - by the time I'm done shipping all the boxes stacked in the stairwell, over 150 boxes of cookies will have gone out to the troops.

Thanks again, all of you, for your love and support...
