Chaos Bypass:

Now that my chaos is behind me, and I don't have to lose so much,
Giving up all Iíve gained, just cause itís unrecoverable
Should be a thing of yesterdayÖ

Without you

Seeing what I donít have, doesnít mean I canít have
Now itís my road to follow, canít blame you now, if I get lost,
Wrong turns and dead ends may be before me,
But itís all a part of today.

Afraid to start anew, flameís not safe when up close
When you canít measure up to expectations
I donít wanna lose the forward motion
Stuck in reality, how can it be otherwise?

Now that neurosis is behind me, and I canít lose any more,
Uphill climbingís the only way to get there
Gotta face my hesitation and do it anyhow
Now that Iím

Without you

Damn, has it been almost a full month since I last wrote? And why does this suddenly feel like the confessional...? "Forgive me Father, for I have sinned, it has been ---- since my last confession."

I've had some recent medical problems, resulting in extreme tiredness, anemia, etc, but I have a full list of tests to undergo this upcoming week, so I should know more soon. This, however, has NOT slowed me down much...I got back on that racehorse and went jamming on Saturday, now have 3 new songs to learn, and have written the above, which I intend to make into a song at some point.

Have you heard of 'Ninety-Nine and a Half?' The most familiar version is Wilson Pickett's, and the band picked it out for me (I HAD NEVER HEARD IT BEFORE!) as they thought it would be my perfect range and dynamic to sing. I tend to agree.

I promise to start commenting again soon, visiting the thoughts of my friends in here with regularity, I miss you all.

Thanks so much greytinted! I am a positive person, I don't even see the negative side of things, so I'm sure this will work out just fine!

LMAOOO
did you NOT read that posting through? I was going to a slumber party, yes, and yes, I did mention my granddaughter, but geeeeeze what kind of woman do you think I am??? This was a slumber party for grown up womennnnnnnnnn...

Thanks kiddo, this is a bugger, it's running my life lately, and the sooner I get this fixed up, the sooner I can continue on my journey. It's like the old car has broken down, needs an overhaul, and I can't go further till the mechanic replaces some parts...

Go on line to Suncor/Syncrude/Albian sands/Cnrl, look at the job postings, put your resume in one that best suits your skills. They will pay to relocate successful applicants, or give out a lump sum. Generally between 15-35000. Plus the retention programs, about another ten a year. Might as well get in while the gettin is good.
The only down side is the average home is 300-600000, and there is no rent under 1200.

Hey Ellen. I've missed your hugs. I'm glad to hear from you again and I hope your tests find something you can work on that's not serious. Hang in there!!
