Blogs that make you think...

I read the following at the blog I read posted by fellow a.f.f'er sammiesunshine...

"What tells you more about a person a profile or a blog.

Pro: Opportunity to be original and creative to tell people about yourself.
Con: Pre written checklist AdultFriendFinder profiles show lack of effort and show laziness

Pro: Opportunity to be original and crative to tell people about yourself on a daily basis.
Con: Could be copied material from someplace else. If you copy your profile, you could be coping your blog."

It got me to thinking and musing on the whole subject of copying one's blog or profile. People tend to insinuate anything against anyone if they are in disagreement with that person or if they are jealous of one's talents. I post stories here in my blog and I have a few different pen names at various sites in cyberland and post stories, poems, and other mouthy rhetoric that I feel like posting. Frankly, these people who want to be cyber detectives and "out" someone for posting something somewhere else or getting some material from somewhere else really need to get a grip. I have had people quote my blog from here or write to me and ask if they can repost something that I have written somewhere and I take it as a compliment.

In my humble yet possibly overzealous or unpopular opinion, it goes as such: The minute you open your f'ing mouth or move your effing fingers in a "public" space, people will comment on what you do or say, use what you do or say, and possibly claim what you do or say as their own original action or idea. That is the nature of emulate what they happen to find, well, attractive for lack of better terminology.

If you are so bent out of shape as to take blogging so seriously, my suggestion to you is thusly: Get a life, a clue, and a day job and drive through.

I have a couple of blogs on different sites and when I see something on one of them that I really like I will ask that person if I can copy that post on another blog site... If I do get permission to copy it I give them the credit for it.

But as for here I have run into a few blogs that every single post on their blog is copied from another blog on AdultFriendFinder... the one I remember had at least 30 posts and most were new or current and every single one was copied and they didnt give credit to the source.

But I look more to a persons blog and then the comments they post on other blogs to see what they are all about... I think the comments say allot.
